Jamshedpur: The 1984 alumni of Shyama Prasad High School gathered at Cheshire Home in Patel Garden, Sundarnagar, to pay tribute to their late colleagues Nabendu Pal, Viparojit Biswas, and Shanta Chakraborty. The alumni spent time with residents suffering from autism, serving them breakfast and donating essential cleaning items like phenyl, Harpic, mosquito coils, Lysol, and mops.
“We wanted to contribute meaningfully while commemorating our departed friends,” said Tridib Chattraj, one of the alumni members. The group’s efforts strengthened the spirit of social service while cherishing their old memories together. Notable alumni like Manoj Murmu, Jayanti Bakshi, and Mahua Ghosh were present at the event.
