Jamshedpur: 105-year-old priest takes second COVISHIELD vaccine

Jamshedpur, Sept 16: 105 year old Rankini temple priest of Mahulia Panchayat in Galudih was administered the second COVISHIELD dose after 84 days of getting the initial dose. The priest urged all those people who have not yet taken the vaccine, to get vaccinated for protection against COVID infection. “Don’t fall prey to rumors that only deceive and misguide. Getting vaccinated is the only way to prevent the third wave of coronavirus and follow the COVID-19 guidelines even after taking the vaccine,” he urged people. It may be mentioned that gaining confidence from the 105 year old priest’s conviction, many residents of Ghatshila Block were influenced  and they have started believing in vaccines and are getting inoculated.
