Jamshedpur: Senior Superintendent of Police (SSP), Jamshedpur, Anoop Birtharay, Friday ordered checking of all vehicles passing through various entry and exit points of the city to ensure compliance with Model Code of Conduct. Cops should make sure that cash, liquor, arms or other valuable items are not carried in vehicles for the purpose of influencing voters or candidates.
The SSP was addressing the meeting convened jointly by him and DC Amit Kumar on Model Code of Conduct. He was accompanied by ADC, ADM Law and Order, DDC B Maheshwari, SP City Prabhat Kumar, SP Rural, SDO Dhalbhum, DPRO and other senior district administration officials.
