Jamshedpur, Jan 8: Suspended Assistant Sub Inspector of Police Manoj Gupta, accused of shooting three persons including his wife at his Sonari apartment, was produced before the court of First Class Judicial Magistrate Mariam Hembram on Wednesday. The court reportedly quashed charges under Section 498A and 307 of IPC and ordered framing of charges under Section 341, 325 and 323 of IPC. A woman had died in the shootout at Naulakha Apartment, Sonari, on 26 July last. Gupta was arrested for opening fire with his service revolver.
