Chaibasa, Feb. 9: Jagnnathpur block Congress Party Committee led by Congress Party district president Sunny Sinku took out a procession at Jagnnathpur on Tuesday. The procession traversed through various places of Jagnnathpur and staged nukkad natak on the way to the SDO office.
The Congressmen submitted a 10-point charter of memorandum to Governor through the Sub-Divisional Officer Jagnnathpur.
Addressing the party activists, Sinku said that BJP�s Yojna Bano Abhiyan is merely a castle in the sky. The many schemes, which are already pending in files, should be implemented first, he said.
Sinku demanded that West Singhbhum District Zila parishad should be given the status of an autonomous zila parished. The revenue collected from the region online should be given to the Manki Munda. Besides, the errors in food security should be rectified and benefit should be given to the needy people.
Those present at the meeting included block Congress president Monoj Jamuda, Asif Ali, Debra Hessa, Promod Gope and a large number of party activists.
