Jamshedpur, Nov 6: Sajan Bhakt, a Jadugoda youth of UCIL Colony had been taken to Gujarat with a promise for employment and it has been over a year that the family has not heard from him. His wife Anita and mother Sulochna are under tremendous depression. Sajan’s father and UCIL employee Ratan Bhakt reported the matter to the SSP at Jamshedpur and only after that did the Jadugoda police come into action and questioned accused Sunil Bhakt but the exercise proved futile.

Sajan Bhakt’s disappearance is not the first instance here. Earlier too, unemployed youth had been taken to distant states with the lure of employment but nothing had been heard from them since. Ratan Bhakt stated that young men moving to other places in quest of jobs and simply vanishing have been prevailing in Jadugoda and nearby areas since a long time. The agents in the name of providing employment collect fat sums as commissions. He stated that there women too in the group.  Ratan Bhakt has mentioned these points in his letter to the police and the state government and demanded proper investigation and retrieval of his son.
