JAC Class 10: Netarhat’s Tushar Ranjan emerges Jharkhand topper, wants to be a doctor

Jamshedpur, June 12: Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) declared the class 10 exam result on Tuesday at 4 pm. Though 59.48 percent students passed the examination, Tushar Ranjan of RES High School, Netarhat emerged as the state topper scoring 97.60% in aggregate as he got 488 marks out of 500.

Resident of Lohardaga, Tushar studied for 10-12 hours daily and wants to become a doctor. Topper’s father Vijay Kumar and mother Priti Agarwal work in the education department. Tushar gave credit for his success to his parents, Grandmother Malti Devi, teachers and his friends. With Tushar becoming the state topper it was first time in history that Lohardaga has produced a Jharkhand topper. He scored 99 in computer, 94 in English, 98 in Mathematics, 98 in Science, 99 I social science and 93 in Sanskrit.

Amit Kumar also of RES High School, Netarhat was the second state topper scoring 487 marks out of 500. He achieved 97.40% marks. The third state topper was Amisha Kumari from Indira Gandhi Balika High School, Hazaribag who scored 97.20% marks with total of 486 marks out of 500.

Third Jharkhand topper Amisha who scored 486 marks wants to become Bank PO. Amisha’s father is working as a clerk in rural postal department and is posted at Bhagalpur in Bihar. Her mother is a housewife while younger brother is studying in class 9. She informed that till class 6 she studied at Dumka. She gave 10-12 hours to study on a daily basis with science and mathematics as his favourite subjects. Amisha gave credit for her success to god, teachers and parents.
