J.H. Tarapore School�hosts Convergence 2015

Jamshedpur : J.H. Tarapore School�is hosting Convergence 2015, an inter school festival which helps students instill a sense of togetherness and confidence within themselves. The festival started today at the school premises in Dhatkidih. Sister Marie Eugene D’Almeida, superior, Sacred Heart Convent School inaugurated the two-day festival.

These two days would be full of interaction fun, learning and excitement where the children mingled with each other and worked as a team. The students of Std. V from about 14 schools of Jamshedpur participated in the non � Competitive workshop.

About eight students from each school participated in the two day non-competitive workshop. Interestingly, Convergence is designed for class V students emphasising on team work at the primary level of schooling.�

” It is annual event and every year we look forward to make it successful. This is a non-competitive festival but we do have a prize distribution ceremony because it does not go to a particular school but to teams,” said Lata Sharat, principal of J.H. Tarapore School.

The second day students will be taught making laterns as this year is the International Year of Light.
