Jamshedpur, Sept 5: The Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur West organized a teacher felicitation ceremony at B.K.V.M. School to mark Teachers’ Day. On the occasion, all teachers, including the principal, were honoured with certificates and gifts by the club.
Addressing the gathering, Club President Sanober Hasan said that teachers are true guides of society whose role goes beyond academics, as they also instill life values and discipline in students.
The event was attended by District Secretary Nibha Mishra, Vice President Urvashi Verma, Secretary Antara Chakraborty, Treasurer Ranjita Sinha, Aruna Singh, and other members of the club.
As part of the celebration, students presented a play highlighting the importance of literacy and education, which received much appreciation from the audience.
