Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Jamshedpur successfully handed over the third toilet made through grants sanctioned by Inner Wheel Clubs in India.
Aruna Taneja handed it over to villagers of Lupundih and encouraged them to use toilets and keep them clean.
This is the second toilet been made at Lupungdih Village, first one was inaugurated by DC Shweta Sinha during her official club visit.
President of the club Alokananda Bakshi informed that after this initiative was launched by IWC, village panchayat also bagged some fund from government and are also making another toilet beside this.
Now the toilet built by inner wheel club will be used by the ladies only.
‘The satisfied faces of villagers and their words touched our hearts and inspired us to engage ourselves in social activities’, added Bakshi.
Also present were Anita Kumar, Treasurer Shweta Chand and others.
