Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) Jamshedpur in its commitment towards fulfillment of social responsibilities towards society started the year with community project for girls.
On Wednesday, Inner Wheel Club Jamshedpur installed first Sanitary Pad vending machine for the Year 2018-19 at Narbheram Hansraj Hindi Medium School. The campaign is planned according to District Chairman’s request on World Population Day.
DLCC and PDC Aruna Taneja inaugurated the machine. Addressing the girl students about the Pad habits, Taneja talked about maintaining hygiene and how to keep themselves clean during menstruation.
Secretary Varsha Gandhi and the Principal of the School provided support in installation of the machine. President of the club Shweta Chand, Pasam Adesara, Secretary Mamta Trehan, Treasurer Dr Manju Rani Singh, Editor Neena Jain along with the members Sudha Saberwal, Prerna Todi, Archana Shekhar, Vinita Shah, Preeti Agarwal and Jasmine Adesara were present at the event.
