IWC Jamshedpur East organises pencil sketch contest on Gandhi-Shastri

Jamshedpur, Oct 2: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East celebrated 151st birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and 116th birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Lal Bahadur Shastri with students of Masti ki Pathshala on Friday, October 2. Club members shed light on the life of the leaders who played a vital role in India’s freedom movement.

They urged the kids to walk on the path laid down by them. On the occasion a pencil sketch competition on Gandhi-Shastri was organised among the students. �Dayal informed the students about Mahatma Gandhi, who fought tooth and nail, sans violence, for India�s freedom adhered to six principles in life�Truth, Non-violence, Vegetarianism, Brahmhacharya, Simplicity and Faith. President of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East, Rama Khanna played a vital role in making the event successful. Later students were awarded books on the life on Mahatma Gandhi and football.
