IWC Jamshedpur East celebrates New Year with underprivileged girls

Jamshedpur: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East, marked the New Year 2025 and Christmas celebrations with a blend of joy and community service. The event began on January 2 at the residence of Past President Ira Bandyopadhyay, where members gathered in festive spirit.
President Madhumita Sanyal led the celebration by cutting a Christmas cake.Members donned vibrant Christmas-themed costumes and participated with enthusiasm. Two prospective members were invited to experience the club’s activities, adding to the festive mood.


The celebration continued at “Masti Ki Pathshala” in Bagunhatu, Baridih, where the club celebrated Christmas with 150 underprivileged girls. Highlighting the spirit of giving, Priya, daughter of PP Neelima Prakash, played Santa by distributing shawls to the girls, offering them warmth and love. The event included cake-cutting, singing, and dancing, bringing smiles to everyone present.
The club’s initiative emphasized their belief: “Christmas is the truest Christmas when celebrated by spreading love and care.” Members including IPP Sampa Upadhyay, Vice President Poonam Verma, and several others extended their best wishes to Priya for her noble efforts. Gratitude was expressed by PP Archana for making the event a success.
