IWC Jamshedpur begins year by planting saplings

Jamshedpur, July 2: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur began the New Year (2019-20) by planting saplings. The new president of the club Dr Manju Rani Singh led the drive at ABM College in Golmuri.

Addressing the gathering, Dr Manju Rani Singh said, urbanisation has led to deforestation in different parts due to which trees are being cut down leading to global warming. The club has decided to plant as many trees as possible to keep Earth away from the deadly effect of global warming. The club planted 30 mango and medicinal saplings in presence of College principal Mudit Chandra.  Also present were Aruna Taneja, Navita Sinha, club members Prerna Todi, Chanchala Singh, Babita Sharma, Geeta Bagadia, Ranjita Sinha and others.
