Jamshedpur, Oct 12: Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur organised a work shop on candle making at Kapali Basti as part of its project for women empowerment.
Deepali Dokania imparted training to around 30 women present during the workshop who were also told about how to make colourful candles in different shapes and sizes, which are in great demand during the upcoming festive season.
Women present there showed great interest and enthusiasm as with this art they can be self employed, independent and earn not only for themselves but can fulfill the needs of their family too. President of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur Shweta Chand said, the workshop is designed to help you learn candle at home, not just to satisfy your requirements but also to be able to sell your creativity. On the occasion Pramila, Radhika, Deepa Gandhi, Archana Shekhar and others club members were present.
