Jamshedpur, May 13: DBMS Kadma High School is all set to organise a grand cultural evening titled “Iter Aeternum” at the school’s Kalakriti Auditorium to mark the completion of 20 years since its establishment. Around 270 students, including volunteers, will participate in the programme showcasing art, music, culture and creativity.
Managing Director of P&M Hi-Tech City Center Mall, Bistupur, R.K. Agarwal, will attend the event as the chief guest. Students will present a variety of cultural performances reflecting Indian traditions and global harmony through music, dance and drama. Attractive costumes, creative props and elaborate stage decorations are expected to add grandeur to the occasion, said Principal Gurpreet Bhambra.
Addressing a press conference at the school premises on Wednesday, Principal Gurpreet Bhambra said the school currently has a total strength of 2,765 students. She added that the programme is being organised under the guidance of the school management committee along with Vice-Principal Suparna Roy.
D.B.M.S. Trust Chairperson (Finance) Dr. B. Chandra Shekhar said the school was established on January 22, 2004, and has continued to grow steadily over the years. He informed that the school plans to introduce more facilities in the coming years, including expanding sections in each class from four to five and starting NCC training with 50 students.
He also said that every classroom in the school is equipped with smart boards, which are being upgraded with the latest technology. The school also has an ATL Lab supported by NITI Aayog.
Several dignitaries, including members of the D.B.M.S. Trust, school management committee, teachers, coordinators and parents, will be present during the programme.
Also present at the press meet were Chairperson Committee school Managing Administration and president of Chairperson Administration and president of school managing committee Lalitha Chandrashekhar, Hony. Secretary Anita Ramkrishna, Joint Secretary Usha Malini, Treasurer Bhuvana Krishnan, Joint Treasurer P.S. Aruna, Vice-Principals Suparna Roy & S. Shireen.
