Ispat and South Bihar Express stop at Sonua Railway Station

Jamshedpur, Mar 14: After a hiatus during the pandemic, the stoppage of Ispat and South Bihar Express trains has resumed at Sonua Railway Station, situated in the Chakradharpur railway division.

Following the lifting of COVID-19 restrictions, the halt for express trains at Sonua railway station was reinstated on Thursday, fulfilling the persistent demands of the local community.

Former Minister and MLA Joba Majhi, along with former MLA Gurucharan Nayak, extended a warm welcome to railway officials and the public at a ceremony organized by the Railways at Sonua Railway Station. They also jointly flagged off the Howrah-Kantabanji Up Ispat Express, marking the resumption of train services at the station.
