Is it too late or just the beginning

George Eliot’s famous quote reads, “It’s never too late to be what you might have been.” So as the year has recently started with the long and interesting experiences to go with it, it is very important for us to discuss the pros and cons of peer pressure. It is crucial for us to have a good peer group as it affects our choices; however, it is also necessary that we do not try to be like them. We should improve ourselves for the good side and not compare our grades or will power with anyone else. Remember, it is not about being the best but about being better than what you were yesterday. Our achievements are what we get as the fruit of our own hard work. It is hard work. It does not matter who comes first in the class. Yes it is true to try and improve ourselves by getting inspiration from them but we should not let it meddle with our mental health. Phrases like “it’s not fair”,” I cannot do it”, “why always me?”should be replaced by “if anything is happening with me, it is for better and for worse and for my own doing I will find its solution because it is never too late.”

We have a long distance to travel, moments to experience, strangers to encounter — even if it is a late call, it is just a beginning. Each beginning marks our efforts and dedication. Hope is developed through passion and love we carry for the work we do and where there is hope we should not give up. If ever we feel that we cannot do what we have already embarked upon, we should ask ourselves “Why did we begin it at first?” If we are afraid, then we should ask ourselves “What would we do if we were not afraid?”

If our mind said it was too late, just hold your heart, take a deep breath and say “It is just my beginning.”
