Jamshedpur, April 23: Cricket enthusiasts in Jamshedpur have a reason to cheer, as the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) is set to bring the Tata IPL Fan Park experience to the city. The IPL Fan Park will be held at the Agrico Transport Ground on May 23 and May 25, offering fans a chance to enjoy the live telecast of the playoff match and the grand IPL final in a festive, stadium-like atmosphere.
As per sources, the Fan Park will be packed with entertainment and interactive zones. The initiative is part of BCCI’s plan to set up fan parks across 50 cities in 23 states during the 2025 IPL season. Besides Jamshedpur, the city of Dhanbad in Jharkhand will host the IPL Fan Park on May 10 and 11.
The Fan Park will feature live match screenings on giant screens, music, food courts, a kids’ play area, face-painting stations, virtual batting and bowling zones, cheer-o-meters, 360-degree photo booths, and replica dugouts. The goal is to recreate the IPL excitement for fans who are unable to attend matches in stadiums.
Most importantly, entry to the IPL Fan Park will be completely free, making it accessible for all cricket lovers to join in the celebration and cheer for their favorite teams.
