Ranchi, Feb 17 : Jharkhand has widened the scope of investment by organising the Global Investors� Summit which attracted nearly Rs 3.04 lakh crore proposals in various sectors, Union Minister Rajiv Pratap Rudi said today.
And as many as 209 companies have taken part in the two-day Summit that ended today, Rudi, Union Minister of State for Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, told a press conference at the venue of the business meet.
�It is estimated that there will be about five lakh employment generation due to these investments,� he said.
Rudy said pre-departure training course centres would be set up as many people in sectors like construction did not get actual wages due to illiteracy.
