Jamshedpur: A meeting of contractors registered with Jusco and labour union members was held at Telco Town Office on Tuesday.
The president INTUC Vijay Khan was also present during the meeting. Various issues related to workers� welfare were discussed at the meeting.
They included ESI, payment of wages on national holidays, Provident Fund, weekly holiday and supply of uniform. Khan apprised the contractors of the workers� demand and demanded their fulfillment as soon as possible.
Among others present at the meeting included Sanjay Ghosh, Laddu Pandey, Gayatri Das and Aparna Guha.
