Jamshedpur: An introductory session for new students of Indira Gandhi National Open University was organized at Karim City College on Sunday. The programme was conducted by the assistant regional director of IGNOU Sara Nasrin. Study material was also distributed among the students of the IGNOU study centre at the college on the occasion.
In her address, the executive principal of the college Dr Mohammad Reyaz said the students will be provided every possible help on behalf of the college to facilitate their studies.
Representing faculty members of the centre, Dr Kausar Tasnim and Dr Indrasen Singh congratulated the students and apprised them of the objective of the courses offered to them.
