Intra-Class karate tournament at Motilal Nehru Public School

Jamshedpur, Aug 19 : Motilal Nehru Public School (MNPS) witnessed a dynamic display of martial arts prowess as it hosted an Intra-Class Karate Tournament on Saturday. The event, meticulously organized by the school, saw enthusiastic participation from approximately 60-70 karate students, showcasing their skills in a spirited competition.

Under the expert guidance of karate coach Shihan Sarju Ram, the tournament unfolded seamlessly, reflecting the dedication and preparation of both the participants and organizers. The occasion was graced by the presence of Chief Guest,  Akhilesh Dubey, President of MNPS, and Guest of Honor Ashu Tiwari, Principal of MNPS.

Akhilesh Dubey, in his address, highlighted the significance of karate as a sport, emphasizing its role in self-defense and personal discipline. He particularly stressed the importance of girls learning self-defense techniques through karate, underscoring its potential to shape a brighter future for the students.

Ashu Tiwari, Principal of MNPS, echoed these sentiments, motivating the participating karate students and expressing her appreciation for the dedicated efforts of Shihan Sarju Ram and the entire team. She assured that the school management would continue to support and cater to the needs of the karate program.

A special moment of recognition was reserved for Tejasya Mishra, a standout student who recently secured two silver medals in the National Karate Tournament held on August 12th and 13th. The school chairman, Akhilesh Dubey, and Principal Ashu Tiwari felicitated Tejasya, acknowledging her outstanding achievements.

The event concluded on a note of gratitude as Shihan Sarju Ram extended heartfelt thanks to the participants, parents, and esteemed guests for their presence and contribution.
