International Women’s Day
Jamshedpur: Urovita Hospital celebrated International Women’s Day on Sunday by honoring the vital contributions of its female workforce. Aligning with this year’s theme, “Give to Gain,” the hospital organized a special program to recognize the compassion and tireless service of women across all departments.
Recognizing the Backbone of Healthcare
The event specifically highlighted the resilience of nursing staff, housekeeping teams, and administrative employees. Hospital authorities expressed deep gratitude to these women for their round-the-clock efforts to alleviate patient suffering.
Special Appreciation for Housekeeping: The hospital extended a special tribute to the housekeeping staff, acknowledging their often-overseen role in maintaining clinical hygiene. Officials praised their dedication to handling difficult tasks—including managing medical waste and maintaining sterile environments—as a premier example of selfless service.
Leadership and Mentorship
Dr. Piyalee, Pathologist and Microbiologist at Urovita Hospital, led the celebrations. As a mentor to the female staff, she praised the empathy shown by the nursing and housekeeping teams. She encouraged them to continue strengthening the healthcare system through their commitment to patient-centered care.
The program concluded by emphasizing that the “Give to Gain” spirit—providing kindness and support to others—remains the true strength of a healthy society.
