Jamshedpur: The Uranium Corporation of India Ltd (UCIL) Narwa Pahad Visthapith evam Prabhavit Kalyan Samiti (NPVPKS) is all geared up to organize a two day interstate football tournament commencing February 23. The matches will be played at the UCIL Colony Ground at Narwa Pahad.
NPVPKS president Rajendra Singh informed at a press meet at Narwa Pahad that 45 teams would participate in the tournament including those from Jharkhand, Odisha and Bengal. The last date for registration of teams is February 16. The final stage of preparations four the tournament is on at a fast pace.
Singh also informed that the winning team would get Rs One lakh as prize money, the runners-up would get Rs 70 thousand while the third and fourth placed teams would each receive Rs 25,001.
Those present at the press meet included Krishna Das, Vidya Sagar Das and Laxmi Das.
