Jamshedpur : A meeting of PCPNDT was convened under the chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner cum District Magistrate Suraj Kumar. During the meeting discussions were held on strengthening the child sex ratio and necessary guidelines were given. It was instructed to make a list of all the ultrasound clinics and make the updates in the Civil Surgeon Office.
At the same time, doctors who are offering their services in more than two places were instructed to identify them. Also, after reviewing the reasoning received from the institutions whose doctors were not present in the last meeting, they were directed to take appropriate action. It was also directed to take strict action against those clinics who do not meet the criteria of PCPNDT.
The meeting was mainly attended by Civil Surgeon Dr. RN Jha, Additional Chief Medical Officer Dr. Sahir Pal, RCH Officer Dr. B.N.
