Jamshedpur : A meeting was held to review the progress of Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana-Gramin, Baba Saheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Awas Yojana and pending Indira Awas Yojana in his office cell headed by Deputy Development Commissioner Parmeshwar Bhagat. The following instructions were given to all the block coordinators in the meeting.
Under the Babasaheb Bhim Rao Ambedkar Awas Yojana, the target of completing 150 pending houses in the block-wise total pending houses by November was given to the Block Coordinators of the respective blocks. Under Indira Awas Yojana, all pending Indira Awas Yojana were directed to be completed by November.
Similarly, under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Rural), first of all the blocks in the permanent waiting list were reviewed for not providing housing benefit to the total 1094 beneficiaries. In the order of review, 545 beneficiaries who have not been registered so far, were directed to get 100 percent registration and live tagged within a week. Within the next three days, 549 registered beneficiaries were directed to make 100 percent live tag.
The beneficiaries of 272 sanctioned houses expressed displeasure over the pending payment of the first settlement, which was directed to make 100 percent payment within two days. Gram Panchayat wise, the progress of completed houses was reviewed in the last 37 days in comparison to the pending houses.
