Instill sense of security among women: Shekhar Dey

Sreeleather’s ‘Encourage Girl Child’ campaign concludes
Jamshedpur, Jan 31 : The ongoing encourage girl child program which kicked off on the birth anniversary of Kironmoi Dey, wife of Shekhar Dey the founder of Sreeleathers concluded today with a colourful program at Rajendra Vidyalaya Auditorium in Sakchi.

On the occasion women who have excelled in their profession were felicitated while ‘SaReGaMaPa Little Champs’ participations and singers Baby Aruna, Anushka Banerjee and Baby Ashmita
presented a mesmerizing performance which made the audience spell bound.

At the event Shekhar Dey who was also the Chief Guest for the function, said that the country needs powerful women.

Sreeleathers through this campaign has tried to make people aware of the girl child which is a boon for the society.

People should make their girl child study and give them proper security and support so that
they can freely move in the society.

Shekhar Dey promised to come back with many such campaigns.

At the event Path Organization also presented a short play which gave a sense of not looking at a girl child with evil eyes, the play was appreciated by the crowd.

On the occasion Shekhar Dey and Sreeleathers Marketing GM Tushar Kranti Sarkar felicitated several women which included Dr. Neha Tiwary, HOD Mass Communication, Karim City College,
Rajni Shekhar Principal of DBMS English School, Vinita Soren Everest Conqueror, M Gudia Sakchi Women PS incharge, HM Pandit Post Master of Women Post Office and Navneet Dutta Branch manager of Bank Of India Women Branch.
