Start-up tips for young entrepreneurs, CII organises conclave at Jamshedpur

Jamshedpur, Feb. 1: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) Jharkhand Start Up Panel in association with YI Jharkhand organiseda Start-up Conclave : Think New , Invest in Future on Thursday at Centre for Excellence. The session was aimed to be an informative cum networking event for aspiring, upcoming and established entrepreneurs.
Vishal Agarwalla, Convener Startup Panel CII Jharkhand in his welcome remarks highlighted the significance of Startups in the current economic ecosystem. He further mentioned that Startups have had exemplary support from the government, which has made India the third largest country in terms of the number of Startups only after US and Britain.

Killol Kamani , Vice Chairman CII Jharkhand State Council pointed out that with this political will in place backed by an overall national consensus in favor of adopting a growth oriented model around innovation and entrepreneurship, the time is ripe to implement right policies and initiatives. He also added that innovation driven start-ups need recognition and promotion so that not only they prosper, but their peers and competitors are also motivated to adopt innovation as the key driver for their business growth.

Krishna Kharia , Chairman CII YI Jharkhand Chapter mentioned that the state and the central government have made all the necessary policy framework to support innovative idea and business models. He thanked all the speakers for the session.

The inaugural session was followed by two learning session with venture capitalists and angel investors from Bangalore, Kolkata and New Delhi. The technical sessions were followed by a Pitching Session.
