Inner Wheel Club members urged to help build 5 ‘Happy Schools’

Jamshedpur, Nov. 22: District chairperson of the Inner Wheel Club (IWC), Jamshedpur, Aruna Taneja’s paid an official visit to the club on Saturday. It was an important event for the club and the members utilized the opportunity to showcase various social activities undertaken by them.

The day started at 11 a.m. with the visit to Adarsh Seva Sansthan Crèche followed by an executive meeting wherein the district chairperson examined the club records, official files, documents and books of account and others maintained by the board members of the club. She will also visit club project in Kaplai Basti Primary School and Dayanand Arya Vedic School on Monday.

Later in the day, the club had its general body meeting at a city hotel. The invocation was sung by Amrita Rao, followed by the Inner Wheel Prayer. The secretary’s report was presented by Alakananda Bakshi. On the occasion new member Shweta Singh was inducted in the club.

The district chairperson also released the Inner Wheel Club Directory; past president Nalini Rammurty introduced the district chairperson to the club. Later, Aruna Taneja addressed the gathering and was content to see the social work being done by IWC. She also motivated and encouraged the members and thereafter guided them on the areas of improvement. Significantly, Inner Wheel Club is the home club of Aruna Taneja.

She also spoke about making five Happy School and asked members to come forward in large numbers to support and contribute towards Asha Kiran Project.
