Inner Wheel Club gifts refrigerator to Adarsh Sewa Sansthan

Jamshedpur, July 28: Keeping up with their community service, members of Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur visited Adarsh Sewa Sansthan, Sonari on Friday.

It is a creche, where 20-25 children, age between 2-3 yrs are looked after by providing them breakfast, lunch and evening snacks. Their mothers drop them in the morning at 9 am and go for work. They are mostly maids who work in the nearby apartments or daily wage earners.
They come in the evening after 5 pm and take their children back home. The club members provide them new clothes at least twice a year. Mothers work without any tension of providing food and proper care. This project is taken care under T-E-A-C-H, where C stands for Child development and also Mother and Child.

Past District Chairman Aruna Taneja was also present at the event who gifted a refrigerator which was donated by a well wisher, to the Children of Adarsh Sewa Sansthan for storing milk and baby food.

Anita Rai, trustee of Adarsh Sewa Sansthan was also present. Members present on the occasion were President Alokananda Bakshi, Vice president Mamta Trehan, ISO Vinita Shah, Editor Manju Rani Singh, Convener of this project Nilakshi Jaiswal , Sarika Singh, Sumitra Padia, Rekha Jaiswal, Archana Shekhar, Malti Singh, Sudha Saberwal and Madhulika Saberwal. Sweets and balloons were distributed among the children by the members.
