Jamshedpur, Jan. 20: Inner Wheel Club (IWC) of Jamshedpur felicitated past presidents of the Club who have been instrumental in making the club reach new heights.
Nalini Rammurty- 2004 � 2005, Mitali Chopra- 2006 � 2007, Aruna Taneja – 2007 � 2008 and Anita Rai – 2010 � 2011 were felicitated for their commendable work as presidents of the club.
Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur organized a �Felicitation of the Past Presidents� of the club. The Past Presidents have constantly supported, guided and motivated the members of our club to reach greater heights. Today the club is doing commendable work in different avenues of service because of the blessings of the Past Presidents who are the strong pillars of the club, said Shweta Chand, editor of the club.
Mr. Chand further informed that Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur is 20years old. A lot many of the Past Presidents from the very inception have left the city over the years but they were all remembered and thanked for their contribution in building the club.
On behalf of the club, Amrita Rao sang couplets. Shweta Chand spoke few words of appreciation for each of the Past Presidents for their active and continuous contribution to the club. This was appreciated by one and all. Fellowship was sponsored by some of the club member.
On the occasion two new members Vandana Sinha and Sarika Singh were inducted in the club by the District Chairman Mrs Aruna Taneja. Second edition of Newsletter was also released by Mrs Taneja.
Earlier, the President Dr (Mrs) Rita Jha welcomed all the members and shared the happenings of the club with the members. The secretary Mrs Alakananda Bakshi made club announcements.
