Jamshedpur : Inner Wheel Club launched No Plastic campaign in the Golmuri vegetable market (opposite to the DVC power station) by the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Jamshedpur East.
The vendors were told about the bad effects of plastic on domestic animals and the environment.
A total of 500 cloth bags with Inner Wheel Club of Jsr East printed on it were distributed free of cost to be offered to their customers instead of plastic carry bags.
They were also made aware of the disposal of the garbage and to keep the surroundings clean.
Members present were President Dr. Anjushree Pandit, Vice President Vinita, IPP Rekha Jha, Secretary Nilima Prakash, Treasurer Namrata, Barnali, Shompa Ghosh and Sampa Upadhayay, Manjari and Manju Pathak.
