However, very often, yoga is only partially understood as being limited to asanas (yoga poses).

As such, its benefits are only perceived to be at the body level and we fail to realize the immense benefits yoga offers in uniting the body, mind and breath. When you are in harmony, the journey through life is calmer, happier and more fulfilling.

The three main focuses of hatha yoga (exercise, breathing and meditation) make it beneficial to those suffering from heart disease, back pain, schizophrenia, stress and it is also useful for cancer patients to decrease depression, insomnia, pain, and fatigue and to increase anxiety control.

Yoga has brought remarkable lifestyle changes in the practitioners and it can be many things to many people.
