Jamshedpur: A three day Mega Industrial and Engineering Expo (INDEXPO) began at the Auto Cluster in Adityapur on Friday.
The Expo was inaugurated by State food and civil supplies minister Saryu Roy, ASIA President Inder Agarwal and managing director of Auto Cluster SN Thakur.
INDEXPO is being organized by Indore Info Line Pvt Ltd (IILPL). There is no entry fee.
Three period zones have been charted for the sake of convenience of visitors. From 10 am to 2 pm has been set aside for business discussions, 2 pm to 4 pm for students and between 4 and 7 pm for other visitors have been chalked out.
Visitors to the Expo will get first hand information on latest concepts of robotics and automation. MSMI entrepreneurs would be able to gain information on the latest industrial technology at INDEXPO commencing April 8.
IILPL MD Raj Kumar Agrawal said, Expo provides for various mechanical and technological requirements at one place in the city. The Jamshedpur INDEXPO has become popular all over the country. Agrawal expected 10,000 visitors countrywide. �We also expect to do business of nearly 100 crore during INDEXPO,� he said.
