Jamshedpur, Sep 5: RVS College of Engineering and Technology wrapped up its induction program for 2024 with a special Teacher’s Day event. The college announced that regular classes will commence on September 6, 2024.
The closing ceremony, held in the college auditorium, was marked by a tribute to teachers. Bharat Singh, Secretary of RVS Educational Trust, extended his greetings to all the teachers present. Principal Dr. Rajesh Tiwari highlighted the significant role of educators in shaping students’ futures.
The event saw the presence of several dignitaries including RVS Educational Trust Chairman Binda Singh, Treasurer Shatrughan Singh, Executive Member Shakti Singh, and Heads of Departments Dr. Vikram Sharma and Dr. Surya Bahadur. Shatrughan Singh expressed gratitude to the students for choosing RVS and reflected on the success of the college’s alumni.
Alumni Association President Kumar Rajeev, Vice President Dr. Rahul Kumar, and Treasurer Vikas Sadhu shared their experiences and motivated the new students. Kumar Rajeev encouraged them to work diligently towards their goals.
The induction program featured various competitions, including drawing, treasure hunts, and quizzes. Winners were awarded certificates and medals. Dr. Vikram Sharma concluded the event with a vote of thanks.
