Jamshedpur: Former Pradhan of Central Gurudwara Prabandhak Committee (CGPC) Sardar Inderjeet Singh defeated Sardar Shailendra Singh in the Harmandir Sahib committee elections in Patna by a mere two votes. He contested the election from South Bihar constituency.
Shailendra Singh was the executive Pradhan of Sri Harmandir Sahib committee. He was the Pradhan of CGPC in Jamshedpur for nine years. Before announcement of the poll results, he claimed to be headed for a clear victory by a landslide margin. For the last one month, Shailendra Singh was on an election campaign in Bhagalpur, Jamalpur, Dehri-on-Sone, Aurangabad, Sasaram and Rohtas to shore up support for himself in the elections.
Special ‘ardas’ marks Inderjeet’s victory
Jamshedpur, July 13: Special prayers and ‘ardas’ was organised in Mango Gurudwara after Sardar Inderjeet Singh won the Harmandir Sahib Committee elections in Patna. He contested the election from South Bihar constituency. Sweets were also distributed among the locals. Baljeet Singh, Sweety Bhatia, Harbhajan Singh Bittu attended the ardas at the Mango Gurudwara on Friday evening and said that it’s a victory of the truth.
Rangreta Mahasabha congratulates Inderjeet Singh
Jamshedpur, July 13: Rangreta Mahasabha congratulated Sardar Inderjeet Singh after his stunning victory over Sardar Shailendra Singh in the Harmandir Sahib Committee elections in Patna. He contested the election from South Bihar constituency. Sardar Manjeet Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Jagir Singh of Rangreta Mahasabha was by Inderjeet’s side during the election campaign. According to Manjeet Singh, Inderjeet Singh’s victory will help abide by the rules and regulations of Sri Akal Takht and Sri Harmandir Sahib with full modesty. This will also support the people of Jharkhand who have been misleading by the politics of falsehood.
