Indo Danish Tool Room Jamshedpur signs agreement with CMERI Durgapur

Jamshedpur, Nov 6: In order to promote mutual research, city-based Indo Danish Tool Room (IDTR) Jamshedpur, Ministry of MSME, Government India signed a MoU with Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute CSIR- CMERI Durgapur on Friday. The MoU  took place over a virtual platform in the presence of Prof. (Dr.) Harish Hirani, director, CSIR-CMERI, Durgapur.

As per the agreement, IDTR and CSIR-CMERI will undertake joint research work in the areas of mutual interest. The concerned officials of both institutes will formulate research and development projects for joint work with due approval of both the participating institutions. This included technology transfer and imparting training to staff, students and technical personnel within the areas of co-operation and joint sponsored and consultancy projects could be undertaken, with both long term and short-term goals, keeping in view the interests and philosophies of the respective institutions.

The officials from IDTR comprising Anand Dayal, managing director, IDTR, S K Bhaumik – manager, marketing, IDTR and R D Gupta – Manager, Training, IDTR were present on the occasion.

CSIR-Central Mechanical Engineering Research Institute, Durgapur is a premier Mechanical Engineering Research Institute of the country under the Ministry of Science & Technology, Govt. of India.

The Indo Danish Tool Room Jamshedpur, a Government of India Society, established in the year 1991 under bilateral agreement with Government of India and Government of Denmark and assistance from State Government for providing integrated solution in Tool Engineering.
