India post 252/4 at lunch, lead NZ by 308 run

Kanpur, Sep 25 (IANS) India were 252 for four at lunch on the fourth day of the first cricket Test against New Zealand at the Green Park here on Sunday.

India now took a hefty lead of 308 runs with six wickets still in hand and one more day to go.

Murali Vijay (76), Cheteshwar Pujara (78) and skipper Virat Kohli(18) were batsmen to fall in the opening session.

Ajinkya Rahane (21) and Rohit Sharma (12) were at the crease when lunch was called.
