India largest democracy of the world: Dr Ajoy

Jamshedpur: The 69th Republic Day was celebrated with great fervour at Congress Bhavan, Ranchi. State Congress president Dr Ajoy Kumar hoisted the National Flag. Many dignitaries were present on the occasion.

Addressing party workers, Kumar said India was the largest democracy in the world. He said the Indian Constitution had given many important rights to the citizens of the country. He stressed the need to safeguard the Fundamental rights of all citizens. He said every citizen should discharge their constitutional duties without fail. He appealed to everyone to abide by the Constitutional laws and fight against injustice of all kinds.

Sweets were distributed among those present after the flag hoisting ceremony. Party issues were also discussed on the sidelines of the event
