Vaccines work by training and preparing the body’s natural defences the immune system to recognize and fight off the viruses and bacteria they target. If the body is exposed to those disease-causing germs later, the body is immediately ready to destroy them, preventing illness.
COVAXIN, India’s indigenous COVID-19 vaccine by Bharat Biotech is developed in collaboration with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) – National Institute of Virology (NIV). The indigenous, inactivated vaccine is developed and manufactured in Bharat Biotech’s BSL-3 (Bio-Safety Level 3) high containment facility.

The COVAXIN is the COVID-19 vaccine developed by Bharat Biotech and ICMR (Indian council of Medical Research). It was the first indigenous COVID-19 vaccine to be developed in the country.The COVISHIELD vaccine was developed by Oxford University and Astra Zeneca, the pharmaceutical company.Apart from COVAXIN and COVSHIELD the following are the other COVID-19 vaccines in India ZyCoV-D,Sputnik, VVX-Cov 2373,Biological E Limited Vaccine,HGCO19.
By rejecting UK & chin’s vaccine Brazil has showed their trust on Indian vaccine Indian pharmaceutical firm Bharat Biotech to buy five million doses of its Covid-19 vaccine, which India has just authorized for emergency use. Brazil belive that the work in India manufacturing of vaccine is quite transparent then in China. As China is already in rader under many countries of world after Coronaviruse outbreak in November 2019. Countries worldwide distrust against China can be seen even after manufacture of vaccine it’s demand in countries around are not touching the hight.India’s work in the field of vaccine can definitely lead the world in the field of medical science & allied research if the vaccine showe it’s positive result in a long run along with vaccine supply to countries around including developing and developed one.
Already India’s pharmaceutical sector came to limelight by supplying Hydroxychloroquine during the lookdown to various countries including various developed one like USA along with poor African countries. As india follow the principal of “VASUDHEV KUTUMBKUM”
So far India is doing so well in the field of health sector and it’s by achieving other highs in the field of vaccine India will be able to supply it’s vaccine to other countries of the world where vaccine is still underwent on its series of trial and corona virus cases are still continued. Vaccine can become a new sign or part of India’s “Good will to Gain stretgy”.
