Independence Day at Tata Motors Jamshedpur, zero accident target

Jamshedpur, August 16: On the occasion of 77th Independence Day, the main function of Tata Motors was organized at Sumant Mulgaonkar Stadium in  Telco.

Tata Motors Plant Head Ravindra Kulkarni hoisted the flag and saluted the national flag. On this occasion march past and attractive cultural program was presented by various school teams of Telco area. The march past by the Tata Motors Security Department and the stunts of the dogs were the center of attention.

A march past was performed by the teams of various schools in the stadium. Little Flower School finished top while second Vivek School, Chhota Govindpur, and third place Vidya Bharti Chinmaya School.

During cultural program first prize was given to Rahargoda Primary School, second place to Little Flower School and third place to ABMP School Rahargoda. During the program, Poonam Kumari, a resident of Telco Colony, who won the gold medal in the Special Olympics held in Berlin last days, was also honored by the plant head with a citation.

The plant head gave detailed information regarding the quality, delivery, productivity, environment of the company. Also highlighted the company’s achievement, production and future plans. The garden of the new Parliament House has been decorated by the Tata Motors Horticulture Department. The Plant Head told in his address that the work of landscape gardening in the new Parliament House of the country has been done by Tata Motors. On this, he proudly said that where the senior management of Tata Group appreciated this work, the highest officials of the Government of India have praised it a lot.
