Jamshedpur, Feb 1: Finance Minister’s announcement to increase capital expenditure on infrastructure has garnered widespread acclaim. The CEO & Managing Director of Tata Steel, TV Narendran, expressed his support, noting that this step is poised to have a multiplier effect on the overall economy.
Narendran highlighted the importance of the continued expansion of rural housing and the proposal to develop three economic railway corridors under the PM Gati Shakti Yojana.
These strategic initiatives are expected to catalyze steel demand, foster job creation, and enhance connectivity and logistics infrastructure, said Narendran.
“It is heartening to see the government’s emphasis on every region contributing to a ‘Viksit Bharat,’ which is underscored by a special focus on the eastern part of the country,” remarked Narendran, commending the inclusive approach to regional development.
