Jamshedpur, Aug 2: incident Commanders are keeping strict vigils at market and public places, containment zones and people under home quarantine to ensure that all COVID prevention protocols are being complied with. Surprise checks on people under home quarantine are being made.
Containment zones are being checked for proper code implementation. Grocery shop owner Dipak Chauhan had more than five people in the shop. Incident Commander Chandradev Prasad sealed the shop and slapped a show cause notice on the owner.
Incident Commander Pramod ram checked several places in Birsanagar including Vijaya Garden and checked on whether people in quarantine were following the guidelines. Food grains were also distributed under his supervision in several containment zones.
The Incident Commanders are following the directives of the East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner-cum-District magistrate Suraj Kumar. Shopkeepers have been directed to use sanitizers, wear masks and ensure social distancing failing which they would be liable for action against specific sections of the DM Act.
