Identify differently-abled voters: Ravi Shankar Shukla

Jamshedpur: East Singhbhum deputy commissioner Ravi Shankar Shukla directed all district officials concerned to identify differently-abled voters and tag them to the polling booths. He also directed them to identify sensitive and highly sensitive polling booths and submit a report by 11th October.

Shukla issued the instructions at a meeting convened at Jamshedpur Collectorate on Thursday. He asked the district officials to chalk out a booth level management plan and also prepare a route chart of all polling booths. He ordered floating of tenders for supply of election related materials by 15th October.

The DC said an awareness campaign for voters should be launched all over the district.

Today�s meeting was attended by additional deputy commissioner, deputy development commissioner, ADM Law and Order, SDO Dhalbhum, SDO Ghatsila, District Panchayati Raj Officer, Director DRDA, Director NEP and DPRO.
