Jamshedpur, Feb. 22: Shared Services beat KPO by 6 wickets at the Inter Divisional T 20 Cricket Championship for employees at Keenan Stadium on Monday, February 22.
KPO won the toss and decided to bat first. KPO scored 118 for 8 wickets in 20 overs match. Anurakta Swain scored 51 runs, Sanjeeb Swain 28 and Aritra Dinda 15.
From SS- Umesh Sethi, Left arm spinner took 4 wickets for 25 runs in 4 overs. Amiya Ranjan Patra took 2 for 24. In reply Shared Services scored 120 for 4 wickets in 16.1 overs. Prashant scored 38 runs, Umesh Sethi 25, R N Bhagat 19 not out.
From KPO- Pankaj and Sanjeeb took 1 wicket each. In another match OMQ Mines Division beat Long Products team by 3 wickets. Long Product scored 74 all out in 15.3 overs. Gaurav Jha scored 20 and Narauney 24 runs.
From OMQ- Vijay Thakur, Medium pace bowler took 6 wickets for 08 runs with a Hat-trick.
In reply OMQ scored 77 runs for 7 wickets in 10.4 overs. G C Pant scored 21 runs and Ravi Pd Tiwari 18. From LP- Ashwini Kumar & Manas Ranjan Bhar took 2 wickets each for 22 runs and 08 runs.
Final and 3rd place matches will be played on 26th February and prize distribution will be held at
at Keenan Stadium. S Sagir, Avishek and T V Ganesh of JSCA were the Umpires and conducted all matches of the above championship.
Sports Department of Tata Steel is conducting the Inter Divisional T 20 Cricket Championship for employees from 22nd to 26th February 2016 at Keenan Stadium. Daily 2 matches are being played.
This is the Twelve (12) and last event of Inter Divisional Championship of 2015 – 2016 season.
Out of 11 units, 10 units are participating in it including Shared Services, CSI, Flat Products, General Offices, KPO, PC, Mines Division, Jharia Division, West Bokaro Division and Long Products.
