Jamshedpur, May 5: The results of the ISC-ICSE 2016 will be declared on Friday, May 6 Friday at 3 p.m., a notice sent to all schools by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) said.
Students from 43 ICSE schools in the city appeared in the exams held in February and March this year.
The CISCE from this year has used the Live Ink Character Recognition (LICR) Solution technology while evaluating answer scripts by the examiners for the first time. LICR incorporates a re-purposed digital pen and tab, used by examiners to evaluate answer scripts and help publish results in a shorter time.
Apart from the schools, the students can know their results through the Internet or SMS. To know the result online, one has to log on to http://www.cisce.org and click on the ISC/ICSE results link.
ICSE examinees will have to enter their unique ID number and date of birth, while ISC candidates will have to enter their ID number and the date of birth or, the �eligibility number� in case of students who have passed their Class X exams from other boards.
Thousands of students of the city are keeping their fingers crossed and have prayers on their lips, are eagerly waiting for ICSE and ISC results that would decide the future career options or the stream they will be taking up.
