Ranchi/Jamshedpur : ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund came away with top honours at the Morningstar Fund Awards 2014, which was held yesterday in Mumbai.
The fund house bagged all the 3 awards with regards to the best fund house in the debt, equity and multi-asset category.
With regards to fund specific categories, ICICI Prudential Mutual Fund, HDFC Mutual Fund, Religare Invesco Mutual Fund, Birla Sun Life Mutual Fund and Franklin Templeton Mutual Fund and won awards for individual funds. The Best Equity Fund House award was dominated by HDFC AMC for four consecutive years only to be displaced by ICICI Prudential AMC this year.
ICICI Prudential AMC had cornered the Best Debt Fund House category for years though Birla Sun Life AMC bagged it for the first time in the award’s history last year.
In the Best Multi-Asset Fund House category, HDFC AMC grabbed the award for three years straight but its winning streak was broken by ICICI Prudential AMC this year. Aditya Agarwal, managing director of Morningstar India, said.
