ICAI Jamshedpur to host two day conference ‘Resurgence’ from today

Jamshedpur, Feb 4: The Jamshedpur chapter of Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is all set to host a two day conference ‘Resurgence’ commencing Friday, February 5 at Hotel Alcor.

Addressing a press meet on Thursday, ICAI Jamshedpur branch chairman Sanjay Goyal stated that the two day conference was themed on ‘Changing Dimension of Performance.’ He said 150 chartered accountants and authorities from Mumbai, Gwalior, Kanpur and Delhi would be attending the conference while more than 200 from all over the country would participate online.

Sanjay Goyal stated that on the first day during the technical session, Central India Regional Council vice chairman Atul Mehrotra would discuss the changes in the tax structure as proposed in the central budget. He said other authorities in respective fields will speak on GST, Company Law, Professional Ethics, Accounting Standards and other allied topics.

This is going to be the first big event after the pandemic in which a workshop will also be organized in which chartered accountants would be provided necessary opinions and guidelines on updated performances.

Other ICAI officials present during the press meet included Chartered Accountants Ramakant Gupta, Sugam Saraiwala, Vikas Agrawal, Rajesh Agrawal, Vinod Saraiwala, Siddharth Khandelwal, Anil Agrawal and Ankit Agrawal.
