Jamshedpur, Mar 28: The ICAI Jamshedpur Branch organized an insightful seminar on bank branch audits at Grand Hall, United Club, Bistupur, in collaboration with the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB), ICAI. The event focused on key aspects of bank audits, including LFAR, IRAC norms and the increasing role of technology in auditing.
CA Vivek Agarwal from Kolkata provided an in-depth analysis of LFAR and IRAC norms, helping auditors understand compliance and risk assessment. CA Deepika Agarwal from Delhi emphasized the growing importance of digital tools in bank audits, highlighting how technology enhances accuracy and minimizes manual errors. Branch Chairman CA Kaushalendra Das expressed gratitude to the speakers and attendees, underscoring the significance of such seminars in keeping auditors updated with evolving industry standards.
CA Vivek Agarwal stressed the necessity of mastering LFAR and IRAC norms for precise financial reporting and regulatory compliance, while CA Deepika Agarwal pointed out that technology has transformed auditing, making it more efficient and transparent. The seminar witnessed the participation of around 150 Chartered Accountants. The event was presided over by CA Sanjay Goel and CA Jagjit Kaur, with opening remarks by CA Kaushalendra Das and closing remarks by CA Anand Agarwal. Secretary CA Rishi Arora efficiently moderated the session, ensuring a seamless exchange of knowledge and insights among professionals.
